Thing 3
I'm using my blog site for both professional & personal blogs - which I've distinguished by using different templates/colours but I now need to choose a picture for my profile (temporarily using a pretty landscape shot). I want my profile to look professional but also 'personal' & friendly. Does anyone have any advice on whether it's best to go for some super formal photo (e.g. graduation photo) or where you draw the line on informality?

Mine is a passport photo - I didn't want to be too formal ut also thought headshot was a good way to go.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing hoopy earrings and an off the shoulder jumper which isn't that professionalbut I'm fairly happy with it.

Mine is very informal though taken whilst in my professional capacity - I was the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland for World Book Day. I think it reflects my personality, not necessarily in rabbit world terms though! Definitely go for head shot as Tina suggests, you look really friendly Tina. I think you should go with what you feel and you can always change it later?
